Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing, provided the baker has not started preparation.
  • To cancel, contact us via WhatsApp at +91 8837641250 or email help@cakenest.in with your order ID.
  • Once a baker has begun preparing your cake, cancellation is not possible as ingredients have been used.

2. Refund Policy

  • Full refund if cancelled within the 2-hour window before preparation begins.
  • Full refund or replacement if the cake delivered does not match the design ordered (Photo Verification applies).
  • Full refund if delivery fails due to Cakenest or baker error.
  • Cake Insurance holders (if purchased at checkout) receive instant refund or re-order if cake is damaged during delivery.
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

3. Damaged Cakes

  • If your cake arrives damaged, take a photo immediately and contact us within 1 hour of delivery.
  • WhatsApp the photo to +91 8837641250 with your order ID.
  • We will arrange a replacement or full refund based on the situation.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Change of mind after baker has started preparation.
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by customer.
  • Delay caused by customer unavailability at delivery time.
  • Minor variations in handcrafted cake decoration (each cake is unique).

5. How to Request a Refund

All refund and replacement requests must be initiated by contacting Cakenest customer support. Customers should not attempt to resolve issues with individual bakers; Cakenest handles all such matters on the customer's behalf.
